PasteFX EULA / License Terms
These terms govern your use of PasteFX. By installing, opening, or using PasteFX, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use PasteFX.
1. Parties
PasteFX is provided by RelayWorks, LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company. “RelayWorks,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to RelayWorks, LLC. “You” means the person or organization using PasteFX.
2. The software
PasteFX is local-first Windows software for reusable text workflows. It helps users prepare, clean, transform, reuse, and apply text through features such as Clipboard History, Library items, workflows, Quick Expand, Search Cycle, selected-text actions, and related workflow surfaces.
3. License grant
Subject to these terms and any applicable purchase, trial, or license terms shown at checkout or in the app, RelayWorks grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use PasteFX on Windows devices you control for personal or internal business productivity purposes.
4. Free, trial, and paid features
PasteFX may include Free, Trial, and Pro functionality. Some features, limits, or capacities may require an active trial or valid paid license. Feature availability, trial duration, license scope, and pricing are shown in the app, on pastefx.com, or at checkout. Microsoft Store, if used for distribution, is not the v1 Pro checkout, license system unless a later public listing expressly says otherwise.
5. Local-first operation
PasteFX is designed so clipboard text, Library items, workflows, workflow results, prompts, settings, and history are processed locally on your device. PasteFX does not use hosted AI processing, cloud clipboard sync, analytics SDKs, background telemetry, or behavior tracking for copied text.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of text and other content you place into PasteFX. You are responsible for the content you copy, store, transform, paste, export, import, or share using PasteFX.
7. Restrictions
You may not:
- redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or host PasteFX for third parties except as expressly allowed in writing by RelayWorks;
- circumvent licensing, trial, activation, capacity, or feature access controls;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble PasteFX except where applicable law permits it despite this restriction;
- use PasteFX to violate law, infringe rights, distribute harmful content, or interfere with systems you do not own or control;
- remove proprietary notices, product identity, or legal notices from PasteFX.
8. Updates and changes
RelayWorks may update PasteFX to improve reliability, security, compatibility, licensing, legal notices, or functionality. Updates may change or remove features. A material EULA change may require you to accept a newer EULA version before continuing to use the app.
9. Third-party services, checkout, and distribution
If direct checkout is available on pastefx.com, payment, tax/VAT, receipts, refunds, and chargeback-facing operations are processed by the checkout provider shown at checkout. License issuance, validation, activation limits, recovery, suspension, or revocation may be processed by the licensing provider used by PasteFX. If PasteFX is distributed through the Microsoft Store, Microsoft terms may apply to app delivery, installation, Store account, and Store updates, but Microsoft Store is not the v1 Pro checkout, license system unless expressly stated in a later listing. These providers receive only the information needed to process the transaction, license, activation, or support request; PasteFX clipboard content is not sent to them by the app.
10. Support
Support information is available at https://pastefx.com/support/. Support is provided on a best-effort basis unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
11. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PasteFX is provided “as is” and “as available.” RelayWorks disclaims all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RelayWorks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost revenue; lost data; business interruption; or substitute services. RelayWorks’ total liability for claims relating to PasteFX will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for PasteFX in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.
13. Export and legal compliance
You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your use of PasteFX, including export control, sanctions, workplace, privacy, data-protection, and intellectual-property laws.
14. Termination
This license ends if you materially violate these terms. After termination, you must stop using PasteFX and uninstall it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.
