PasteFX Support
For PasteFX support, email support@pastefx.com.
What to include
To help us troubleshoot, include:
- your PasteFX app version, if visible in Settings or package details;
- your Windows version;
- whether you installed directly from pastefx.com or from another listed distribution channel;
- what you expected to happen and what happened instead;
- the steps that reproduce the issue;
- a screenshot, if it does not reveal private information.
Do not send sensitive content
Do not send passwords, private keys, API tokens, financial information, health information, or private clipboard content unless specifically necessary and requested for support. When possible, replace private text with a short example that reproduces the issue.
Billing and refunds
For direct purchases from pastefx.com, include your order reference, purchase email, purchase date, and purchase channel. Do not send payment card numbers. If a future public listing expressly offers purchase through Microsoft Store or another marketplace, use that marketplace’s order, account, or refund flow for marketplace transactions.
View your PasteFX purchase history and invoices securely through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Enter the email address used at checkout, and Paddle will send you a secure sign-in link.
For refund eligibility or payment-status questions, use Paddle buyer support. For PasteFX product, license, activation, or recovery help, contact PasteFX support.
License and activation help
If you need license or activation help, include the purchase channel, order reference if available, and the email address used for purchase. Do not email private license secrets unless requested; support can advise what information is needed.
Data retained after uninstall
PasteFX keeps its settings, local History, pinned items, Library and workflow data, protected installation identity, and protected license state in %LOCALAPPDATA%\PasteFX. Microsoft Store updates and uninstall/reinstall cycles leave this folder in place so local data and the licensed device identity remain available.
- If Pro is active and you want to stop using this device, open PasteFX Settings and choose Deactivate This Device while online before removing any files.
- Create a database backup first if you want to keep your local History, pinned items, Library, or workflow data.
- Exit PasteFX, uninstall it, and then delete
%LOCALAPPDATA%\PasteFXin File Explorer to permanently remove the retained local data.
Deleting this folder removes PasteFX local data and its protected device identity. A later reinstall may require license recovery and activation, and a device that was not deactivated first may continue to occupy a license slot.
Security or privacy reports
To report a security or privacy issue, email support@pastefx.com with “Security” or “Privacy” in the subject line. Include enough detail to reproduce or understand the issue, but avoid sharing private clipboard content unless necessary.
Support availability
Support is provided by RelayWorks, LLC on a best-effort basis. Availability, response time, and support scope may vary by issue, purchase channel, region, product version, and applicable law.
